The Emotion of Punctuation?

Do you think about how your punctuation, capitalization, etc., affect the emotions in your writing?
I recently read this blog entry by editor Cheryl Klein and this interview with her. Apparently, she has done other Harry Potter interviews, but I’ve never read those.
